Bio

Jennifer DeAngelis

My artistic journey began with a deep love for the ocean, nurtured at the 7 Mile Bridge and Key West during my honeymoon in 2001. The vibrant, colorful homes, laid-back island life, and charming roosters and chickens captured my heart, making Florida feel like destiny.

I've been passionate about creating art since I was little, growing up in picturesque Connecticut. Art was my escape, my way of expressing the beauty I saw in the world around me.

In 2018, after years of dreaming, my family and I finally made the move to Punta Gorda, where the sun, sea, and creativity fill our lives. The coastal beauty and the vibrant colors of the ocean inspire me every day.

In 2020, my life took an unexpected turn with a diagnosis of stage 4 congestive heart failure. Facing the possibility of a transplant, I chose to stay positive, believing that God had other plans for me. I felt deeply that creating art was my divine purpose, a way to share my love of the ocean's vibrant colors with the world.

Today, my artwork is a testament to the beauty and serenity of coastal life. Each piece I create is infused with the inspiration drawn from my journey and unwavering faith. Through my art, I hope to connect with others who share a love for the ocean and bring coastal elegance into their homes. My journey as the ART Happy Artist™️ is a testament to the transformative power of faith, resilience, and the discovery of one's true calling.

-Cheers, Jennifer

"My work is more than just merely using watercolors on paper. It is a deep connection to colors and the ocean allowing me to channel the emotions of one's ideas, adventures and memories into a work of art that can last a lifetime." -Jennifer
